Part 2 of 3 Getting a room block is one thing. Understanding what you're agreeing to is another. Before you sign, pay attention to four things: Deposits. Know what is required, when it's due and whether it's refundable. Deadlines. Know when the agreement must be signed, when guests need to book and when rooms may be released. Room commitments. Understand how many rooms you're agreeing to hold and what happens if your guests don't book them. Cancellations. Ask what happens if guests cancel, change their dates or your group doesn't fill the block. The details can vary from one resort to another. Don't sign until you understand what you're agreeing to.
